At the beginning of every film shoot, it's all about the movie you're making. By the end of every film shoot, it's all about the food you're eating. In light of this, here are the top five restaurants we ate at during production on Hellbound?
- Prime 16 - New Haven, CT: I highly recommend any of their gourmet burgers, but make sure you order it on a pretzel bun.
- Shalimar Restaurant - Ann Arbor, MI: By far the best Indian cuisine we had on the trip. My personal favorite is their Shrimp Korma.
- E-San Thai Cuisine - Portland, OR: The food at the restaurant is so good I'd almost say it's worth the five-hour trip to drive there. You'll never go wrong with their Gang Panang curry.
- Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant - Abilene, TX: I love enchiladas, so I highly recommend their four-enchilada plate, esp. their avacado and spinach enchiladas.
- The County Line BBQ - Houston, TX: By far the best BBQ I've tasted. I went for the three-meat place, which included turkey, sausage and ribs.
